Strathpuffer 2009

AWS Ocean Energy Ltd entered a team at The Strathpuffer 2009.
The Wave Power Wanderers took part in the worlds only winter 24 hour mountain bike race on the 17th and 18th January 2009.

17 hours of darkness, blizzards, deep mud and freezing temperatures did not affect the enthusiasm and fighting spirit of the team!

Finishing 61st place out of 92 quad teams, 15th out of 26 mixed quad teams and completeing a total of 22 laps and 154 miles on their first attempt - they did us proud!
