Successful Testing Completed

By mid-October 2004 testing of the AWS pilot plant was completed as far as was possible under the prevailing conditions. The team declared the tests to be 'very successful' with the technology being fully proven and a total peak power of around 1500kW having been produced. The next stage is to feed the test data into the time-domain models to check that the measured results match with the theoretical predictions.
